Or maybe they haven't stopped whining about it yet, I dunno.

No, the current problem is that someone decided to post SOB on FFN under the name Britain's Darkest Hour and claim it as their own. When he found out that he was being
reported for plagiarizing, he added this AN:
Quote: A/N: So, this is a story that was deleted from fanfic cuz it had extremely long authors notes and some guy got all pissy and flipped out. To read therest of it, go to Bobmin356's profile and follow the link. Just trying to creat awareness for the best story out there! :-) P.S., on their site it's
 called 'Sunset Over Britain"

which is patently false, as, if he were trying to raise awareness, he wouldn't have changed the title. And would have asked for permission.

At least, that's the story I got.

Where'd you hear about that?

In any case, I hope he puts the story back up somewhere. I at least, still find it amusing, and would like to see if I'm right about Setsuna. (And perhaps
get an explaination as to why Ayame, given certain things about kitsune, chose to work in a ramen stand...)

He's reposting it at TFF. Which, I feel compelled to point out that the reason it requires registering at the forum is because it isn't really supposedto be a place to archive fics. It's actually supposed to be a place to get feedback, so if you aren't commenting, you shouldn't BE reading the
fics. (Although, to be fair, that didn't work out so well as hoped.)

Having since had my registration for that forum approved, it doesn't look like a repost so much as a rewrite in progress. Which certainly isn't bad,
but I'd still like to see the original available again, at least if there are any significant changes in plot direction. Because I'll probably still
enjoy reading both questions.

I'm not convinced that requiring registration to view even the slightest part of the forum is going to improve the quantity or quality of feedback
received.

Having no functioning search engine probably doesn't help either.

Both have the same sort of structural problem; repeating declarations of love and/or the major plot elements do not constitute characterization. Kinda
interested to see if Jeconais will pull out or follow Bobmin's example & ride this puppy all the way into the ground.
