The most LOL MLP-fic ever, in my opinion, has updated: Hail to the King.  To summarize, a human who has never heard of MLP ends up in the body of King Sombra at some point after the Crystal Heart activation.  He thinks he's having a particularly wierd but vivid dream.  The ponies think Sombra has totally lost his mind.  It goes something like this:

I cantered into the town, looking back and forth in interest. To my surprise, it was a whole community of little, crystalline horses going about their lives like they think they’re people. Every last one of them glimmered in the sun as if they were made of glass. I grinned happily. “Yes! More fun craziness. I’ll name one of them Shiny and we’ll go on adventures.”

“They’re… uh, all staring,” I mumbled under my breath. I suspiciously checked back and forth at myself and the light-colored, bright, shiny citizens, and looked for differences. The most obvious disparity was my coloration. “It’s not because I’m black, is it?”

“I’m not! I really am a bipedal ape-creature from a space-age democracy!” Good God, I was terrible at explanations. “Shoot. Pretend I said that in a way that isn’t crazy. I mean – It’s not crazy. I’m not crazy! Stop inching away to the door, Cadence!”

“Um… on a scale of one to ten, just how crazy are we talking?”
“No, Shiny. What he has is so, so much worse. This isn’t a scale of one to ten. This is like breaking through the scale and circling back to ten a second time."

Stardust has been previously mentioned up thread, and SBforumites ain't liking the last chapter trailer. I'm also not liking it due to issues of time compression, forcing so much events into two months, nope try a year.

From what I've seen, it isn't Hasbro, but a third party that Hasbro employs to search out and stop bootleg merch.  Apparently, one of Hasbro's VPs is looking into the situation, so it sounds like a case of the head not knowing what the foot is doing.
