Very much a whitewashed "good guy" SCP Foundation too, at least by appearances. I'll grant that Dogbertcarrol is seldom one for ambiguous morality in his stories, but my impression of them otherwise was decidedly on the far side of shady. Pretty sure there was a supposedly-Foundation-admin directive to cut that "freindly SCP allowed to run around" stuff out and either properly contain or where possible liquidate them, too, a far cry from the "protect" being about the SCPs themselves here.
So what I'm getting at is to not let concerns over the general darkness of the SCP-verse get you too alarmed... but don't get too excited about it either, because it's looking pretty AU from here.
