It's very classic Usagi, yes. My favorite Usagi has always been the one from Crystal, who was always more mature than mainline Usagi. So maybe that's it.

"You're the Tsukino Usagi?!"

Usagi briefly glanced at the shelf holding copies of the manga, the '90s anime, Crystal, the live-action version of the story, bootlegs of a few of the stage shows, and dozens of fanfics. "No, I'm just a Tsukino Usagi."

The Count from Sesame street has never been given a proper name as far as I know, but if he had one it should be Enumrate von Toothrie.

He's canonically Count von Count, but if anyone from Children's Television Sesame Workshop ever see this, please let me know whether somebody came up with that name, or something similar, and discarded it. As always, the Mgt. apologizes for any convenience this may cause.

"EEEE! Everyone, I won the tryouts! I get to sing as the opening act of the music festival! It's just a short set and I have to end on "Never Gonna Give You Up," but it's a chance for a big break!"

Congratulations, that's great Minako! Why do you have to finish with that song, though?"

"It's because the next act is Crystal Castle. A rolling Rick throws no stones!"

This is straight out of my working notes for a My Apartment Manager is not an Isekai Character story set in late-June 2017, and it's been there for a while now.

Quote:"Did they really have to play this song?"

"It wasn't a meme back in the 1990s," Rob pointed out. "And listening to the lyrics, I'd say it's a perfect song to play at a wedding reception if you don't know the meme."

They both turned their full attention to the audio:

"Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down,
Never gonna run around and desert you.
Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye,
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you."

"Yeah, okay, I can see your point."

Lyrics from Never Gonna Give You Up, written by Stock Aitken Waterman, performed by Rick Astley, copyright © 1987 by RCA Records, are used as allowed under section 29.21 (1) of the Copyright Act of Canada, R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42.

As to whose wedding it is, you're just going to have to wait until we actually get to that point in the story. It isn't my SI's, though.
