Fic Update: Gone in 60 Threads

In a world borne On The Shoulders Of Titans, where Hell Is Empty And All The Devils Are Here, only now, surprisingly enough, is The Second Plague upon us.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Let my people go, that they may serve me. But if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will plague all your country with frogs; the Nile shall swarm with frogs which shall come up into your house, and into your bedchamber and on your bed, and into the houses of your servants and of your people, and into your ovens and your kneading bowls; the frogs shall come up on you and on your people and on all your servants.”’”

That is way too serious of an introduction to a story about two competent idiots fighting an army of frogs.

Notes:
Fun Fact: There is a long-standing debate on whether the Second Plague which struck Egypt at the time of Moses was made up of a multitude of frogs or just a singular frog of an uncanny nature.

Like most other stories in this anthology, this one was inspired by a monster/horror movie sub-genre. Specifically, this one was a slightly-more-serious homage to the SyFy channel's monster movies. You know the ones, right? With the nonsensical monsters, the corny dialogue, the action-comedy couple who end up making out at the end, the overly gory ending?

I haven't even watched one of said movies in years, to be honest, but6 I used to do so religiously when I was a kid. I can only hope I did a good job and created an interesting read, that, after all, is my job as a writer.
