All The Tropes Wiki Project, Part XXXII
RE: All The Tropes Wiki Project, Part XXXII
And done, earlier this morning.

I have been Roland, Beowulf, Achilles, Gilgamesh, Clark Kent, Mary Sue, DJ Croft, Skysaber.  I have been
called a hundred names and will be called a thousand more before the sun grows dim and cold....

Today, instead of acknowledging (as requested) a warning on their talk page, Loopy's instead gotten pissy about the edit rejection, and has decided to alter the descriptions of those two tropes because in their mind we are denying what they think is an obvious truth. I think we've hit the point of diminishing returns with them. Would someone else please take point with them? I am inclined to be... undiplomatic, and that's probably the wrong tack to take right now.

I did the needful.

Alice says something that isn't right. Bob corrects her, but the correction isn't right, either.

Example:
"Everybody knows the Nobel Prizes are awarded by Denmark."
"No, actually they're awarded by Finland."

After two months, I'm starting a trope candidate for this: Incorrect Correction. Nowhere near ready for the Trope Workshop, let alone the wide world of tropes, but I don't mind other admins taking a look at it. (Especially since I only have two examples so far, and one of them's a fan work that I wrote. Smile )

So, so close...

I almost cleaned up everything on All The Tropes:Frequent Redlinks... but Zack Ryder/Funny has an link to "GMs" that I don't know how to parse because I don't follow professional wrestling. If somebody who has a clue about pro wrestling could look at that page and disambiguate that link (and, if necessary, add a term to the disambiguation page for GM), I'd appreciate it.

GM is short for "General Manager", so "GM" is a contraction of that term.

Thanks, geth. One more term for the disambiguation page... and a clean sweep of fixing the common redlinks for another year.
