If you pay attention, he uses "Low IQ" to refer to black people who contradict him.

Also, they missed out "Nobody knew about this" and "Nobody ever heard of it", both of which mean "I just found out about this".

It took Randall Munroe a while to get to this topic, but he's knocked it out of the park.

The one talking about 'the strait of Lake Superior' is a joke, Superior connect to Huron via a river, not a strait.
However, the canal ships use to travel between them is entirely on the Canadian side as I understand it. So we technically could close it. Not sure it'd be a great idea though.

Besides, the Welland Canal between Lakes Erie and Ontario is definitely on Canadian soil and would hurt the US more if we were to go that route.

Might be enough to push Dozin' Donny into full meltdown though.

EDIT: *scratches head* OK, where did my brain cross-reference 'Weyland' from?
I did not realize there even were St. Laurence locks (I thought the seaway was navigable to Montreal, but I suppose modern ships need a lot more space than old sailing ships), let alone that they were on the US side, and yes, that's an even better reason not to try closing our canals. I suppose it could be used as a counter if the orange turd decided to try closing the St Laurence locks, but that would first require someone to tell him they exist (As bad as my geography knowledge may be, I'm pretty sure President Toddler's is worse)

"Weyland Canal"? Is that anywhere near the Welland Canal?

Anyway. The canals on the St. Lawrence Seaway are all on the USA side, so either side could shut down shipping between Thunder Bay and Montreal. There's only so much freight that can be shifted from ship to rail in Toronto, or from rail to ship in Rochester, NY.
