Since they now want me to be signed in before showing me a business's hours, and I have no desire to let a company in the USA know anything more about me than what's strictly necessary.

Any suggestions?

Surprisingly, maps.apple.com is pretty good now. I mean, they also did the lake renaming thing, but they're not Google, and not really getting rich off map ads.

Also, and this is crazy, sometimes Open Street Map works....! Sometimes shops are on there, and sometimes with metadata like phone numbers and websites. You will have to right-click to see it on a computer.
