Bob Schroeck Wrote:robkelk Wrote:Is somebody singing? Let the Filkers know...Oh, I want an MP3 of that. Well if you're equipped to pull things down from YouTube the BNL have put their own copy up there.
Edit: Or just follow the download link in the description. That would probably be better.

Well, NASA thought somebody wanted one ...

Time to revise the timeline for the Mars Terraforming Project: the first comet drop will take place - with a small amount of Fen assistance, an evacuation warning for an existing settlement, or both, if necessary - on 19 October 2014.

(In our timeline, the comet might barely miss Mars . I'm hoping it hits, so the politicians will be able to see what a comet impact does to a terrestrial planet, so they'll have a clue why we need a space program.)

On a Wiki Walk, I learned about Jupiter's magnetosphere , which is so large that it could contain the Sun and its visible corona in its central bulge: unlike Earth's magnetosphere, Jupiter's is disk-shaped. It's a strange beast in many ways, and I highly recommend checking the article out.
