Manticore TF?
05-22-2007, 07:07 PM
Would anyone be interested/available to work up a team for the Manticore TF on Virtue? I want to send Evangelia off on that one next, but I don't particularly feel like standing around next to him waiting to see if one forms, either spontaneously or from Eva's plaintive pleas to the ether.
On a related topic, is anyone going to be playing their L50 char(s) any time soon? I'm still hunting False Nemeses -- I'm about halfway to the badge for them -- but I haven't seen anyone I could ask to SK me for a while.

Numero Catorce would be up for it. I think that, being 40, he's a little high for it, but I can always use the influence. Or I can stick to it in SG mode and pull some prestige down.Ebony the Black Dragon

I would be interested. Badb is level 35, and I've never done that TF with any toon.
Scheduling might be tricky... I'm on the west coast, and not sure if I'll have time and net access this weekend yet. I'll see if I can pin some times down. If it's after Memorial day, most weeknights would work if I had a little advance notice and people are willing to forgive the occasional child-related AFK.

IF you need a tank, I can dust off Wide. Presuming you want Thursday or Friday this week.

Let me see what obligations I have to the families for Memorial Day weekend. If I can swing Sunday afternoon (say 1-ish eastern), who could make it?

I might be able to make Sunday. Umn. I can't promise I'll be able to, but there's a...reasonable chance. If so I'll probably bring Space Mage (34 Dark Defender).

That would be very cool.
I still have to check on my own availability, though. More on that as it develops.
Or maybe I'm going about this backwards... What works for everybody else?

It really depends on when you want to do it. I figure if its on Friday, i can make it no problem, other days, it depends on when we start. and yes, Shi would be the one coming along, now with Sonic Buffs and Leadership.

Friday evening might be easier for me to swing than Sunday afternoon. Peggy's got Friday off, so I don't have to worry about her staying late for work and needing a pickup at some ungodly hour.

Either would be good for me. There's a ginormous LAN party this weekend, but I can either bring my PC to it on Saturday, or play the TF on Sunday from the party. Ebony the Black Dragon

Hi folks!
Friday night's best for me in terms of not getting sideswiped by the plans of my non-online friends.
I'm pretty sure that Sunday morning they want to go see Pirates of the Carribean 3, and I don't know that we'd be back early enough on a Sunday afternoon to get in on a TF. ^^;

Well... Peg worked overtime until 10:30 PM last night (no, that's not a typo, yes, I was furious), so we didn't have any chance to poll the relatives, but I informed her of the tentative plans, and neither of us can currently think of any potential conflicts.
Of course, Peggy's family and "mandatory impulsive plans" are often congruent, so something may come up at the last minute, but for now, I think we're go for the task force.

ETA: Strike that, my car isn't going anywhere outside of town until I can find a shop to take it to, which, on this weekend? Not likely.
I'll be there with bells on.

If there's still room, Badb may be there. I'd have to leave work a little early, but it's a long weekend; excuses are easily made.
