Gryphon actually thought really hard on the Eyrie forums about doing this very crossover, under the title Heavy Metal Thunder; it was the context wherein somebody first realized that Mio and Yukari are obviously cousins. It could still happen in TFLF v3 or a DSMP continuation.

They mentioned LEGO on the radio this morning, and played... yeah, that song from the LEGO Movie that you'd expect them to play.

Which got me thinking: Considering the twisted minds of some of the people who make AMVs, has anybody set Evangelion to "Everything Is Awesome" yet?
