Quote:OK, you sold me on the little zakennayo-glasses, and yeah, pretty much exactly like Sakura's hitae-ate in function.
Subvert the trope! Or use little schoolmarm bifocals, whatever. I just think that the big, round, Fuu-of-the-Magic-Knights look has been overdone. And the hair thing sounds good, then - it's like how Sakura uses her forehead protector, stet?
Quote:Well, it's just I hate the beach, so I was overcompensating a bit. Keiu doing the view of the shrine on the far end of the valley from the hot springs area works, too.
Ep. 7... Beach? Not hot springs? 'Cause besides being inland, Nagano's got plenty of the latter. (Miyou: How -do- you stay so tan, then, anyway? Tsuchi: *blushes -hard-*)
Quote:Who, no doubbt, told her about all the glorious things that would happen with the world under Lord Ravana's control, without really mentioning quite how messy and distateful getting rid of the current occupants is, until they dissappeared after one too many defeats. Given the nature of her underlings and co-workers, she's not all that sure about the likelihood of the promised golden age of prosperity and happiness, either, when most of them seem to be perfectly happy running wild to spread slaughter and mayhem, and almost as glad to do it to each other.
This does, of course, beg the question of what -(Maeve)'s- doing working for this crowd, for which I hope you have at least a few ideas... maybe she's second generation, an earth-born-and-raised girl who inherited her position from her parents.
Series finale - sounds like a plan, there. Though, with only one Dark General dealt with and synopses already up to ep9, it might have to go over the 13 episodes I was originally shooting for. That's okay, though - just slide 9 back to slot 7, and maybe put another ep between it and 6 so the hot springs are at ep 8 or 9, then ep 17 or 18 can be a beach episode at the start of summer break, so the schoolkids elements can be left out to deal with closing up the plot with a two-parter for eps. 24-25, and an epilogue in ep26, where things do NOT go back to the normal routine now that the world's been saved, instead they find a new equilibrium. Possibly even set several years later, so it can be a K/M wedding episode... complete with an attack by a rival ninja clan, which irritates the dragons in attendance - many, many dragons in attendance - almost as much as Miyou's half of the party.

What, you think Samuel L. Jackson isn't going to survive the zombie apocalypse?
SERVO: Loook *deeeeply* into my eyes... Tell me, what do you see?
CROW: (hypnotized) A twisted man who wants to inflict his pain upon others.
