I think "Needs no ketchup" would be better, though. For the outfit she quick-changes into to avoid getting gore on her wedding gown. For megatokyo refernces, I think "Ph33r teh Cute 1" would be at least as good.
Quote:Unfortunately, that kind of easter egg is a bit harder to place in a text story, since we'd have to be actually drawing attention to it. But I really like the idea... or maybe he and Tsuchi use it as a running joke, -she- thinks playing off of his name. *shrug*
... unless we include the 'do not meddle in the affairs of dragons ...' quote eariler. Not neccessarily meaning that it's gotta be used by someone. Kennan having a poster with a stylized western dragon and that quote on it hanging somewhere in his room would be cool - especially if we see it in the first episode, say, as the first thing he sees when he wakes up, and write it off as something entirely unrelated to the plot.
Quote:Tatsu-Kennan and Ningen-Kennan, you will note, are in no way connected by that sequence. You're right about Miyou, though. Hmm...
I mean, I don't expect the intro would have Tatsu-Kennan or Kunoichi-Miyou in it at first (say, until after the fifth episode - before that the intro can be mostly recap scenes with fitting bgm).

Query - what's the lifespan of a dragon in that particular world? If it's anything like what's usually the case, then there's some problems on the horizon for Our Heroes. I'm assuming it's not, or they find some way around it?
As for how long -she'll- live, well, there are ways to extend lifespans, even without resorting to the nastier options people've come up with over the years - particularly when you can call on the assistance of a powerful mage like Maeve. Among other things, there's always the 'ki mastery extends youth' option, which makes sense when you think about it - all it requires is that you assume that the quick healing and durability that lets, say, Ranma heal a broken limb in days or go through a concrete wall without ill effect extend down to the cellular and genetic level, and you'll see that most of the damage and decay that -is- ageing... ceases to be a concern.
So, yeah, he'll live a long time, but no, I don't think it'll matter.
Ja, -n
