It's hard to deny his badassery when he fought three kage-rank ninja to a standstill at once, them being restored to their prime versus him as an old fart, before killing two and maiming the last with a suicide technique. You're right that it's hard to come up with someone for the SR-71 - there's not a lot of characters for whom speed is their defining characteristic above all others. Cheetara, maybe, though Mirai works, as long as she's not having one of her klutz attacks. Of course, she didn't really have much time to get used to being a superhero, and by the last OVA she's much better at it. Yeah, that could work.
