Ever heard of a Blind Friend Insert? It's like a self insert but instead you insert a friend who's never seen the work their being inserted into so you can get metaknowledge free reactions.

Florin, it might interest you that Scott Johnson and Scott Jamison did something like that almost 20 years ago in their story Ma Vie et Roses --it's a Revolutionary Girl Utena fic, and one of the authors, who was genuinely unfamiliar with the series at the time, wrote the actions of a pseudo-insert avatar while the other wrote the rest of the fic around him. Sadly incomplete but what there is of it is huge and really worth the read.
