If it happens. If he tries it. It basically means that America is effectively a dictatorship. Because if previous form has been any indication the last few protests have been lkittle more than flashes in the pan that fall apart when people get bored and need to go to work in the morning to put food on the table and keep paying the doctor.

Checks and balances don't work when one party practically controls two branches, which look the other way when convenient and makes sure that only them can fill the third.

"This is Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. I regret to report that both our Jedi Order and the Republic, have fallen with a dark shadow of the Empire rising to take their place. This message is a warning and a reminder for any surviving Jedi. Trust in The Force. Do not return to the Temple... that time has past. And our future is uncertain. We will each be challenged. Our trust. Our faith. Our friendships. But we must persevere. And in time, a new hope will emerge. May the Force be with you, always."
