After a bit of thought I'm settling on the daughter of Himeya probably not speaking Japanese, but having a parent or grandparent who thought it was important she had a Japanese name. Himeya might use senpai internally, but not sure if that spread to Orange Planet. But probably not so strictly as real nihonjin would use it; probably only for rank differences. I guess Alice is a pair at this point in the story while Aika is a single so.... I'll allow it.
