Oooh. Years ago I did that -- and more -- one night to a cop on the NJ Turnpike. I'm running about 10 over in the left lane, with the rest of the road almost completely empty, and this set of headlights comes up behind me and sits such that I can only see half of them over my trunk. I start slowing down, in the hopes they'll get annoyed and just go around me. They don't. I keep slowing down. And slowing down. And sloooooooowing down. All the time the headlights stay on my bumper.

When I reach 30 MPH, the cop, apparently annoyed that I wouldn't accelerate so they could get me on a speeding ticket, flashes his lights once. I signal and move into the right lane to let him by. While I suppose they could have gotten me on going too slow, I suspect he didn't have to want to testify in traffic court how it was that I came to do so...

EDIT: There was another time I did that, and the guy got pissed, pulled around in front of me, and did the same thing to me. I just laughed, very visibly, until the guy realized that I had no problems with going slow and he was doing to himself what I'd done.
