Meanwhile, regarding the "sword in the stone" image: The sword in the stone found in the Montesiepi Chapel of Chiusdino, Italy is not the Sword in the Stone that is part of Arthurian myth. It is a sword in stone with its own story, specifically that of 12th-century Catholic saint Galgano Guidotti. Some scholars believe its existence influenced Arthurian storytellers, but it itself has nothing to do with Arthur. It is a picture of the right sword, though, they got that much correct.
Trust me, I know my Arthurian stuff. Enough to still get paid for it.
