Alicia layed on Seiji's lap, looking over her English homework. "This is bullshit, they just want me to repeat facts, not learn shit." She sighs.
Seiji pats her back. "Welcome to the education system, they want drones, not free thinking radicals."
Alicia's tail lashed in annoyance, when she sniffed. "Do you smell ozone?" She asked.
A ball of lightning formed in the centre of the room, arcs raining out to carve along the walls before collapsing in a pop to reveal a small girl, with cat ears and demon horns, emerald eyes opening up and looking around before locking on Alicia. "Mommy!" The child squeezed and got up, running over.
Alicia blinked as this child collided with her. "Mummy?" The tifling asked in confusion as the girl then looked at Seiji. "Daddy! I came to play!"
The door to the room opened as Sera stood there. "I heard a funny noise, what are you kids up... Too...." The elf trailed off looking at the devil cat girl, who ran over and hugged her leg. "Grammy!"
Sera took a deep breath. "Alicia, Seiji, why do I have a small child calling me Grammy?"
Seiji coughed. "I... I think I can explain.... She is a time traveler."
The young girl nodded. "You are all to bust to play, so I came to when you are not busy to play!"
Sera tapped her foot. "And how do you know she is a time traveler?"
Seiji looked embarrassed. "Because legally speaking, I'm a time traveler."
Alicia blinks. "And you didn't mention this before?"
He shrugged. "I thought you might pick it up what with dad having two sons called Seiji."
Sera sighed, looking down at her leg. "So... Time traveling granddaughter? What's your name?"
The little girl looks confused, then alight clicks on. "Oh, I'm not around yet, I'm Nalko." She grins up at her.
Sera slowly kneels down. "Well, before I let you play with your parents, we are getting some ice cream and you can tell me all about yourself." She snapped a gaze as Alicia and Seiji. "And you two are coming, but no ice-cream for you."
And so they sat in Seraph's kitchen, Nalko explaining between bites of ice cream how her parents where so busy in the future, they didn't have time to play, so she borrowed daddy's time travel device to come back when they could play.
Sera tapped her chin. "And how long till you have to go back?"
Nelko pulled out what looked like a blue steel rubixs cube. "Daddy said it takes a week ta recharge, so I'm here for a week.... Your not angry Grammy?"
Sera reached over and patted Nelko's head. "With you, no, your parents, yes.... Alicia, what sort of mother does not have time for her daughter? And Seiji, I am ashamed you did not hide such an important artifact better, your father will be hearing about this."
Alicia threw up her hands. "This is not fair, how can I get blamed for what haven't happened yet!"
Sera smiles. "Time travel is a bitch like that, ask your cousin Neph."
Seiji pats her back. "Welcome to the education system, they want drones, not free thinking radicals."

Neph: I wanna fight!
