But I'm so glad this thing still exists, even if the joy has long since left my soul - because it's anj earnest thing from a pre-shittification internet where people just put their own joy and hopes into things and made it into a version of reality.

But it's one of the final fragments of the real collaborative internet, were people from around the world joined together to create something, rather than the enclosed and mechanically curated walled gardens we all find ourselves in now - where everything is solely tailored to keeping the clicks flowing and the advertisement revenue going.
