I read throgh BK1 of that when it was mentioned the other day, and can second the reccomendation. It's apparently ended up more action and intrigue oriented than the author originally intended, but they decided to roll with it where the characters wanted to go and the result is a good blend of western sci-fiwith the befreinded-dungeon-core magitech litRPG subgenre.
