Athiests don't get that having four (plus) different versions of it makes it more credible. Imagine being on a jury, and every single defendant tells the exact same story with the same words. Wouldn't that seem like a conspiracy to hide the truth? People remembering the same events differently is a normal thing you expect from humans telling the truth.
