Hell, for most folks under 50, I'd say.

About 50 seems right; I only know about Wimpy because I once read my grandpa's book about Popeye comics, not because I had direct exposure via TV or pop culture.

I wonder if that meme is 20 years old already. Even 4chan is 22 years old now.

Hey, Wimpy's is still reasonably big in the UK. It's only folks on this side of The Pond who don't remember that chain (or that newspaper comic).
