Many of the Very Serious People (TM) we allow to be our pundit class seem to have decided that, if you're a Republican who doesn't bother with a cover-up, there's no actual crime, and to humor those who have decided, if they can't find evidence of a crime by a member of "the Democrat Party"*, that just proves how high the cover-up goes.

* Have I mentioned how thoughtful it is of these glorps, drobes, and other disembrained bodies to talk about "the Democrat Party"? Since at least 1954, it's been 100% reliable at conveying to intelligent aware people, in the minimum number of words, the message "The only things I use my brain for are storing pro-billionaire talking points so I can regurgitate them as needed and keeping my scalp from falling down my windpipe and putting me the fuck out of the misery of people who aren't as mercifully free of the ravages of intelligence as I am."
