The Imperial Presidency, Part 2

That's funny, because I have plenty of words. However, most of them are unprintable.

The guy on Insta who has been doing the countdown as to when Trump would either die or need to be removed for having frontotemporal dementia -- his countdown ended yesterday. And, well, doesn't he seem, as the Hawaiians say, totally loco moco? Posting on all hours of the night, firing all the women from his cabinet, making less sense than a take-a-penny-leave-a-penny tray these days.

I mean, he finally gave up prosecuting the head of the Federal Reserve Bank, because he wouldn't resign. What would make the criminal charges go away? Trump said dropping interest rates would do it. Senator Tillis blocked the confirmation of his successor until the investigation was dropped. They were literally using state power to try to coerce a guy (that Trump appointed!) instead of just waiting the two weeks until he was supposed to be out of office.

Oh and our Secretary of Health doesn't believe in germ theory.

So many words. But actions speak louder. May 1 is a general strike. No shopping, no work, no school. Shut it all down.
