I love massing different concepts from the Godzilla franchise together.
Most people don't even remember that the Nebulans from "Godzilla vs. Gigan" are actually human-sized cockroaches.
But when I saw it as I was researching this fic, my brain instantly connected the dots to the franchise's other collection of insectiod aliens, the Trilopds from the "Godzilla: Rulers of Earth" comic books. The result of that fusion is what this chapter became!

(And there's also the Cloud-Dwellers, from the Hanna-Barbera cartoon)
