Thanks! That's because the meat of this chapter was written and rewritten over the course of nearly six years. I knew from the start it was going to end up here, and it was only the details that really changed as time went on.

Oh, I'll get there. Eventually. But Doug's first reaction to Sana's world will be, "gee, a lot like home, except no metahumans." He's not going to see much weirdness at first.
