Mom looking like Trixie... well, we never do find out anything about Nako's father except that Mom married him at 18, so you never do know. That would have been about right if they were sixteen or so in the early seventies, and monkeys are almost as cute as corgis.

I will note that the scene where Mikhail introduces himself had me saying "Hey, it's Tabris!" which turned out to be all too true, both from the 'actually an angel' perspective and that it's fighting with Mikhail that sets off the immenent-apocalypse endgame of the main plot.
