Using Acrobat Reader 5, the first page is blank except for the page number, and it couldn't extract the embedded font "YVTRCC+MyriadPro-It". (The font issue may be related to the Contents formatting problem, since the message appeared when I scrolled down to page 2.)
Normally, I'd recommend raiding NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day site for illustrations, but it appears to be down today...
