Hey, Logan, note that I'm regaling people with office scuttlebutt. Hardly anything to call serious. But it does point out that the current administration
has one hell of an image problem if such a large number of the voting populace actually thinks Bush declaring martial law is worth even bullshitting about over
the water cooler.
I'd also point out that -- as far as we know -- he's nowhere near as close to actually doing it as Nixon got; Nixon actually went so far as to ask the
RAND Corp. about the feasibility of cancelling the 1972 elections to keep the country out of the hands of the so-called "Youth Movement".
