Just stopping by to say that yes, while I supported Trump, I refuse to gloat over those who voted Hillary or third party.
You voted your conscience no matter what, and I respect everyone who did that.
If anything, I just hope Trump lives up to his hype and proves as competent as he claimed he'd be.
I'll just focus on one topic that probably will go wrong in the medium future (4-6 year time frame). The economy. What you are going to see is the GOP decide to go back to the economic regulatory state of affairs prior to the great recession. In short anything goes. What government spending there will be will probably go to the military and hopefully infrastructure repair. But that would probably mean privatization of the road network. So what I am predicting is that another boom and bust cycle. Trump may or may not achieve 4 percent growth by 2020. Which the GOP will trumpet as their crowning achievement. Then the bust begins. How severe I won't forecast. But considering the last depression was under a GOP president, I would not surprised if a repeat of the great recession, if not a full blown depression does occur.
