One more, for the Mastermind I've been playing lately. I've had the name reserved for a long, long time - I dreamt up the concept soon as I heard MMs were gonna be a CoV class. But I only now have I gotten him in a way I REALLY like. =)
The Coordinator used to be a contact in Paragon City. He gave 'em missions, pointed them at thefts, drug deals...except...he was actually sending the heroes against his competition. Or otherwise using 'em for his dirty work. Unfortunately, the authorities got suspicious after too many newbie heroes went 'missing'. Turns out he had a deal with Dr. Vahzilok: premium parts at low, low prices. With free delivery - the merchandise literally moved itself.
He was thrown in the Zig...and gave the wardens headaches. They knew he was running a black market operation from his cell...somehow smuggling drugs, liquor, cigarettes...into prison. But they couldn't prove it.
"Cord" now operates out of the Rogue Isles. He prefers to deal in goods and information, but will assist with...manpower issues...if a client requires. He is a social chameleon, and apparently multilingual. He has no superpowers, no magical or technical expertise...but he employs specialists for that. His associates aren't mere thugs - each one is an expert in some area, be it safecracking, network security, supertech, or even magical theory (one of his 'Arsonists' is a former Hellion).
If you need something bought (or sold), Cord's your man. Except time machines. Lord Recluse has banned time travel in the Rogue Isles, everyone knows that. On the other hand, if you're looking for a pre-owned sports car, he's got a nice De Lorean DMC-12...
Thugs/Traps MM. Member of the Infamous, though he prefers to think of it as a joint venture, of sorts. He does offer his colleagues very attractive discounts, however...and occasionally will work pro-bono. After all, good relationships are part of business.
