Tactical improvements on the Crystal mish... hmm.

Well, I'm not sure exactly, but I did note soemthing interesting. Even an un-slotted Invisibility seems to be strong enough to waltz through the mobs with
ease. I did that with Bill at one point, dropping stealth at the end when I found Emet to assist with dropping the crystal. Didn't work out so well for
Bill -- he got off 1 RoA and a few regular shots before being swarmed by Dark Dwarfs and such.

But point is, he breezed right through a metric buttload of Romans on the way there, and not one of them appeared to notice him.

I've got this niggling idea of maybe a stealth porter approach. Stealth porter goes out, finds a crystal, ports a tank to it to drop it (and probably gets
dropped himself); tank tackles crystal while porter moves on to find the next (gets port-rezzed or hosps if necessary). Group waits by front door and handles
ambushes as they come. Now the cool bit: as soon as the tank drops the crystal, the porter zaps them to another. So, no need to wade through the crap in
between, no dragging aggro (besides ambushes) around everywhere you go.

If you have enough stealth porters -- or porters that can BE stealthed, aka Grant Invis, for example -- and enough tanks, you can clear multiple crystals at
once with this method. A decent group can drop the ambush spawn before another shows up, and can hold its own even if two tanks are working crystals
simultaneously. It's when they get spread out or hit from two sides that things get ugly; therefore, stay by the front door where there's that one
single chokepoint that the spawns will have to roll through to get to you.

Thoughts?
