DS smiled as he waited for the next date to show up, the last two actually hasn't been that bad, first there had been, much to his surprise, Natalie,
hell he hadn't seen her since he left Australia all those years ago, then their had been the cat girl he had saved from the burring warehouse.
So far the second round looked like it was going pretty well, he smiled as the next woman sat across from him.
"Lemmy guess" she chimed with a huge grin across the table at the familiar face "someone offered to liberate a kidney if you didn't"
sitting up straight from her mild slouch as her brow furrowed and she mocked some big tough guy "get out and have some fun." Settling back to a more
relaxed posture as a breathy laugh escaped her a moment.
"Ya do seem wound a bit tight most of the time" she added with a soft smile as thumb and forefinger played at turning a coffee mug on it's
coaster on the table in front of her. "No worse than me though" another light laugh, this time at herself as her eyes darted across the others
who'd shown up for the event before settling back to the one across from her.
Seraph smiled at the kidney comment. "Yeah, I don't get a chance to relax most times, and my sister did threaten me if I didn't get out and
have some fun." He carefully sipped his coffee. "But its nice to get out every once in a while and let my hair down so to speak."
"I guess we can skip the bit were we tell one and another what we do for a living, right?" he asked carefully.
"No" she answered rather abruptly in a nearly squeaky tone with either eyebrow lofted slightly before settling a bit as the phone at her belt
vibrated. "Sometimes, yes we both do the same thing for a living" her eyes drifting to the caller ID a moment then back as she ignored the call.
"But most of the time I'm just driven slowly insane by annoying phone-calls from people who think they know me just because I worked with 'em
once." The quiet hum at her hip settled back into silence a moment before it chimed letting her know whomever it was had left a message.
"It's more or less complicated and I'd rather not waste seconds on trying to explain it so- what do you do for fun?" Slipping an impish
smirk she added "aside from dodging your sister's wrath that is." Like a teen being told to sit still she wore the same in her demeanor having to
sit idle for seconds. There was genuine interest in the conversation but something about her seemed like it would rather be in motion than sitting in a club
talking shop the remainder of her evening.
"Well, I work in a forge making bit and pieces of magic junk… er, bit of cooking and researching old books of magic…. And trying to raise two
teenagers." He looked over and noticed Tish was seaming a little restless. "That and following Terr around helping him beat up Romans and Banished
Pantheon."
He noticed Tish seamed to show interest in helping Terr. "um… maybe you would like to come along one time?" he felt stupid saying it, but his mind
had gone completely blank.
As he spoke on making magic 'junk', cooking, research and raising teenagers the look on her face seemed to change to a near comical annoyance.
She'd asked about fun not the work he did after the badge came off at the end of the day. But as he mentioned 'Banished Pantheon' she perked a bit.
With Emet or Terrence on staff she could take down scores of Banished Pantheon like they were as tough as potato chips.
He'd hardly finished inviting her as she blurted "I would actually, like right now if that's possible." She hated being idle and after a
handful of random suitors she'd grown rather antsy. "I was bored, it's the only reason I came to this goofy thing. But this whole sitting around
thing isn't my idea of a good time. Really, I'd rather be working, so call up Terrance and lets go do something fun instead of this root
canal."
Seraph blinked, she seemed rather eager to go… and Sera didn't say he had to say the whole night... smiling he stood up and grabbed his phone
"Sure, why not?"

Sera looked from her date and raised an eyebrow as she saw Seraph leavening the room with a short woman, she gave the woman a once over and smiled, as
Seraph looked over she gave him the thumbs up. While she wasn't sure if you were meant to leave half way through, but Seraph looked happy, so obviously she
had completed her goal.
Turning back to her date, she gave him a sweet smile and asked. "So what is it you said you do for a living mister BurWot?"
