(I'm afraid this is getting overlooked due to the OOOH, SHINY factor of the VIIOR 2.0 thread, and that's a shame.)
I'm liking this piece more and more. It's... not quite a police procedural show, if that makes sense? And that's a good thing. I tend to find
shows like CSI and Law and Order and whatnot either boring, irritating, or both. (The irritation stems from my exposure to real-life law enforcement training
manuals, which the writers of said shows either haven't read or use as a reference to find out how to annoy Real Cops).
So it's got something of the flavor of such a show, without being one. I'm rereading it looking for clues and... it's like a detective story,
really. Not a gumshoe yarn, mind you, but still.
I'm blathering. Point is, I like it, and WANT MOAR.
