There's more to the costume creator than at first glance. Things like, say, trenchcoats are pretty buried in the options. They're there, but you gotta go look in alternate pulldown menus and suchlike.
It's...not the most intuitively laid-out UI. I like what the costume creator engine does, but the interface could use some work.
Granted, the City of Heroes one isn't that fantastic as well, and they have continually re-organized the CoH creator and where costume pieces are located. The CoH creator is a lot more logical nowadays than it was at launch.
The Champs one still has that not quite polished feel to it.
