I've installed Comodo a couple of times for a friend and a customer as their personal choice, but what I saw setting it up and the later calls about it put me off of it at least for customers.
Thanks good to know it can be simplified, I think I'll try Comodo on my HAM shack laptop and see how it does there.
I personally like a firewall with the ability to have rules and/or setting that lets it be "noisy", but I end up installing or setting up so many firewalls I try to use what I recommend and Zone Alarm has been good compromise for over a decade. I can't think of the number of times simply installing or resetting an existing version of Zone Alarm to it's "louder" levels has helped me trouble shoot a computer's problems.
