2199: The SDF-2 is completed and takes its place in Earth's defenses. The SDF-1 and a small escort fleet are dispatched to seek out the Gamillas homeworld and attempt to force a resolution. Senior officers of the mission are Admiral Juzo Okita and Rear Admiral Bruno Gloval.

While clearly the Zentradi won't show up until Season Three, look forward to that moment when Akira Yamamoto finally gets to take revenge for all the rotten advice Max Jenius gave her about her relationship with Storm Leader Dietz.

Because there has to be at least one way to make the entire situation with Miriya's introduction funnier and more embarrassing in retrospect.

And let's not forget the halloween party, where people are all in costume and we get a mistaken-identity mixup with Hikaru, Misa, Kodai, and Yuki....
