Well, I might already have filled too much in. I'm not going to drag main characters in to having dealings with them so I'll leave stuff like who and where open for now so anyone wants to can use them. But I had to keep out of the grimdark pit, and better match the original source. Ultimately, the gaps are there for anyone to fill in if they want to use them for anything. Up until 2019, they're a tough enemy that can go toe-to-toe with the best the heroes have to offer in a straight fight..... afterwards, the sky's the limit.
Since they're intended to be open characters, it's all open to change anyway. There's a lot than can still be added too.
For the right writer, Vita's parents might make a hell of a story. Her original name was Penelope Buckfast, identified from Hogwarts records. Zafira will be the hardest to identify. Zafira appears to have been intended to be capable of transformation - his internal structure is the most extreme of all four - but the joints and motors to enable this have been removed and permanently locked in human form. Ultimately, while they themselves aren't interested in knowing where they came from, there're a good many people with missing relatives who would at least have to know.... enough to be awkward when someone is 'convinced'
