She's starting to suffer from Jordanitis(Robert Jordan) and becoming too wordy.
Harry Potter is a good series to start children reading, but it is not put together as well as Pelludicar, Myth-series(Ahhz and Skeeve). Harpercraft Hall trilogy, or Skylark.
I'm getting more enjoyment out of the translated and spartan Slayers novels than I have from the Harry Potter books.
