Acyl would like to note that one of his non-Legendary alts is a 23 Will/SS Tank, Payload. Acyl can bring the robot
for the 7 pm Eastern Task Force, though Acyl is unlikely to be functionally awake for the later one.

Acyl also has two blasters which could use the badge, but Acyl suspects the tank will be more useful.

Okay, Beach Baby made 20 last night, so if matters allow, I will try to be online with her at 7 PM Eastern tonight.

The second run is, indeed, at 10pm Eastern to give our pacific folks a go. I should be around for both.

I'll be there for Team Two at 10 Eastern. Looks like I'll be bringing ol' Bill, because I didn't have enough time this week to get any others
into the right range.

Are we still looking at a Fire/Fire/Bow/Squid lineup? If so, I gotta say, we should demand to be called Task Force Shishkebab.

Well now, that was a pretty fun Night the two groups both successfully compleated their Task forces. I don't know how well Team 2 did..I think the team I
was on wasn't team 2..but..i'm not sure >.> but thats normal for me to be confused heheh. Anyways Our group consisting of Brea, myself, Vyper,
Val, and Fox's toon pretty much tore through everything like so much wet paper. From my perspective it was pretty amuseing..I'd wade in.toss out a
taunt..punch something then suddenly the world explodes around me in fire and light from our local friendly Fire blaster and Kheldians *Grin* I liked tanking
for them..it was simple and fun with these huge ass clusters of Council on the missions we faced em. Our toughest mission was hunting down some Named freak in
an outdoor mission, where our group got compleatly mobbed by god knows how many freaks...I couldn't see myself in the mass moveing cluster of freak
tanks..it was really quite funny.

And Then the AV at the end? pfft..she was a pushover..the blaster and khelds once they were out of clamours Aoe took her appart like so much rubbish

thats my 2 cents ^_^

Team 3 was almost entirely Blasters, with the exception of Gamma and Drew. It worked surprisingly well, as almost everything ended up dying in the first few
salvos

Yessss.... the blaster volleys of doom laid the Freaks and Council flat like so many straw dolls. It was glorious.

Though I think Faraday's info is bugged. She's *obviously* a tanker, or maybe a scrapper... I don't care what the screen says about being a
blaster. Heh.

(I'm thinking scrapper, actually... tanks don't fall down as much. Oh, wait, sorry, reboot their armor as much.)

Playing a blaster like a scrapper isn't unheard of.

Playing a defender like one? on seven and eight man teams?

Its a scary and exhilarating experience, also the most fun I've had with Gamma. Period.

I ended up following on Faraday's heels, rushing into large groups of with named bosses/EBs depending on the Rad trifecta to mitigate the agro.

And it WORKED!

More often then not the combination of debufs and the pure amount of scary damage that 6 blaster could put out would mean that there was nothing more than the
alpha strike.

Charge in, debuff, look at the pretty colors of massive damage, heal, repeat.

I'm just sad that Clamor dropped me before I could debuff her.

The second 7pm Sister Psyche team finally finished in 4:03:22. We were a team of 5. Jackie Frost - blaster, Alexis Morgan - Katana scrapper, Precis-DB
scrapper, Bloodwalker - Broadsword scrapper, and Felspar - stone tank. THough Psyche called us Team Mirage, Jackie preferred to call us Team Phallic Symbol.

We lost Jackie about half way through. So we were down to 4. Yet we still managed to keep up with team one until the last mission. Clamor is a rad. Grrr. She
took us down 4 times but we finally got her.

Thank you to Acyl, Discord-chan (Morganni), Kyou and Rev! Good teaming!

Thanks everyone for having me along with the blaster group. Southern Shootist can be trigger-happy...the astonishing thing is how little I faceplanted over
the course of the TF. Thanks for tolerating my impulsive, jumping ahead to the next group gamestyle.

I was surprised to see how well a blaster-heavy group can function. I guess we can all thank Castle for the new Defiance.

That was the most fun I've had with Faraday for a while. I think I got clobbered more than everyone else on the team put together, but I finished without
any debt left. Electric Melee attacks has more punch than my ranged attacks and half my AoE damage is point-blank, so yeah... playing like a scrapper... and
mostly getting away with it.

Hey, Fedifensor. First post on the forums? Heya. =D

Actually, what amused me was...during the 7 pm Eastern runs...the blaster/squid-heavy team actually did far better than the scrapper-heavy team. As has been
pointed out, the tank/scrapper team got absolutely massacred by the Clamor AV at the end.

'cause y'know, with one tank and a bunch of scrappers, what we're doing is dogpiling Clamor in melee range. So we're all clustered tight around
her. And she has insane AoEs...

...and our poor SR scrapper (Discord/Morganni) flat out doesn't HAVE any AoE defense yet. The Willpower scrappers did a bit better, I think, but still. And
once people start dropping, that's pretty much a recipe for disaster. I think in the end we finished about an hour behind the first team, given the fact we
needed four attempts to finally take Clamor down. Which is sayin' a fair bit.

And it looks like the 10 pm Eastern team proved that too, with a heavy blaster loadout. Did you guys have problems with Clamor? I'm guessing not.

We swept her side of the room pretty clean before dogpiling her with insane amounts of ranged attacks. I think we only lost Gamma.
Edit: Oh, and before I forget again, with such a blaster heavy team, Accelerate Metabolism or similar are VITAL for the times the fight lasts longer then the
opening shots

Hey, Casey -- I missed your post, my apologies. Welcome to the forums! In case it's not obvious from context, I'm the player for about six folks in the Legendary, including group co-leader Evangelia and Beach Baby. Glad to have had you on the team Friday night! Quote:And it looks like the 10 pm Eastern team proved that too, with a heavy blaster loadout. Did you guys have problems with Clamor? I'm guessing not.
My only problem was getting a shot at her before she fell over with a meaty thud. I've never seen an AV's HP bar look like a cartoon thermometer on the first day of winter before.

Clamor dropped so fast for the blaster team that I didn't realize we were fighting her until it was all over. Brutal.
I nearly got dropped by her AoE, which woke me up and alerted me that there was something funky going on, but by the time I recovered, she was down. All that
was left was mopping up.

Good times.

I noticed Clamour charging (at full health) hit her group with Short Circuit and Ball Lightning, and she thrashed Faraday within an inch of her life--I managed
to back off, lose aggro, take a knee (was all out of greens) and came back and got in maybe one or two more shots before she dropped. Crazy damage done in that
twenty seconds or so, especially considering we were already engaged, didn't alpha strike her, and apparently didn't even give her our undivided
attention (at least not all at once.)
