Now we need at least one Harlem Globe Trotter Fanfic link

		09-05-2008, 04:50 AM

I thought given the name of this thread we needed at least one fanfic about the Harlem Globe Trotters listed here.
I've used both Yahoo and Goggle looking for a HGT Fanfic, but I've found none.

All I found that might be of interest is a webpage talking about the shared universes of many TV shows.

------------------
 http://www.geocities.com/utherworld/x.html
------------------

For example did you know that it is not a crossover if you have a fanfic that includes the HGT basketball team, Scoobydoo, Gilligan's Island and Batman and
Robin. It is cannon that they all exist in the same universe along with several other surprising comics and shows.

If no one can find a Harlem GlobeTrotters crossover then I guess that means the one who started/named this thread must write a fanfic and post the link to it.

Assuming no one finds a HGT fanfic it is preferable that the fanfic that is written have Doug meeting the Scooby doo version of the HGT team probably with Doug
being the source of a mystery that has him pitted against the Scooby's and the zany basketball skills of the Scooby doo version of the HGT. ;p

The Pull Of The Chain. When Willow Rosenberg activated all the Slayers, among their number was a young witch named... Luna Lovegood. Starting out in the summer between Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows, it's still gearing up, so it's hard to tell where it's headed. But the writer is skilled, and they're taking their time to set up their story very well. This is one to follow, in my opinion.

Harry Potter
from the author: This is my take on the highly cliched Harry has a twin who is mistakenly declared the BWL and Harry subsequently is ignored by his parents until the truth comes out. Right now this is a one shot though that may change

Here are two that I rather liked. The first is the only 'evil' Aang that I've seen that has managed to stay true too his character while the second
is a rather interesting reboot of the Superman methos.

The Golden Age by masamunable: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4501512/1/The_Golden_Age
(Summary): Aang has a vision for the broken world. There will be peace, there will be prosperity, there will be no more casualties along the way, and they will
all be very, very happy. One-shot "What If?" fic; just a little dark.

Superman reboot revisting the character's origin by SuperCharles: http://www.fanfiction.net...ing_the_characters_origin
(Summary): Superman Begins - with the re-imagining of Krypton with strong contemporary science fiction ideas, this story will integrate the ages of Superman
into a single continuity beginning in the 1930's and through to the present day.
Dwarven Vow #16: You can do anything if you try! We're dead anyway if we fail.
