Short answer is yes.
Depending on the mode he's being describe as for the scene, I also hear "Meh-lo" and "Mil-low".
But my brain has a Weird Cognition Function as Some times I actually Understand American english when Spoken by the current set of Teenagers.
I also on occasion under stand what my cat is calling me When I feed her late...
