That didn't take long
Maybe a double-false flag. Mail bombs to someone designed to be intercepted so that when they do get intercepted and nobody gets killed then you can call it a false flag because obviously it was arranged in October if nobody got killed.

It might work for the elections.
Might
But somehow given the obvious coordination (this many bombs on the same day is not a coincidence) the FBI is going to bite down and not let go. Not ever. It might take years, but whatever group send those bombs is likely to get very lengthy prison sentences and whatever political motives were behind it is going to get tarnished severely.
And given the political angle? It's highly likely to be a Republican or Republican aligned plot.

Final total of bombs appears to be 12, with the last few intercepted in the mail.
If the news I heard this morning is still correct/current, none of the bombs, while they were real explosive devices, were actually rigged to go off when the packages were opened, so exactly what was intended with them is still unclear. They had timers, but I haven't heard what the timers were set to, if anyone has announced that.
