By that definition, morality is putting what you consider to be right before what your community considers to be right, and ethics is putting what your community considers to be right before what you consider to be right.

Although I've never thought that ethical behaviour was necessarily conformist behaviour, so I think there's something wrong with that definition.

That actually looks more like a woodchuck than a beaver, which is odd since I'm pretty sure woodchucks don't actually eat wood.

Nor, of course, do they chuck it. (Although, in something I remember as being related to 90s Usenet tendency the Ultimate Video Rumble, the legendarily caps-locked Haohmaru boomed out, in a moment of enlightenment, that if one could, it would chuck enough wood to build a temple the size of Mt. Fuji complete with food court.)
