I don't think so, but if we did it would be listed on the page for Azumanga Daioh, since IIRC Osaka forgot her own name in favor of her nickname.

This got so bad her nickname was used on an official school register of student names IIRC.

I propose the trope title "Forsaken Name" if we ever make a trope, unless someone has a better idea.

Notes on pending edits.
Pending edit for Bottle Episode
Section about the Twilight Zone is a match for the TVT Bottle Episode Subpage.
Content was added to TVT by user "6" on September 8th, 2024, predating its submission to ATT.

Reject and inform the troper why, pointing them at the appropriate copyright policy page.
Got a response on this one. They claim they are the user 6. What should be done?

In the past we've handled this on a case-by-case basis, mainly because there haven't been that many cases. Unfortunately I don't remember what we did the last time we needed to verify someone who we couldn't identify as a liar or plagiarist right off the bat. Rob, Brent, Geth, do you recall?

I don't recall, sorry.

Hmmmmm... Have we done enough to be considered to have done our due diligence, in case an infringement case is brought against us?

I would say not; taking a potential infringer's word that he's not a plagiarist isn't enough. We need some way to verify he is "6" -- perhaps an innocuous message of our wording posted somewhere on TVT he can point us at?

Agreed.

Looked through the queue, and we can take "DialgaX" at their word, their edits on our site match up pretty well to TVT.
