The Good Doctor’s first appearance was back in On Patrol Chapter 10: Dead Space. She’s appeared since then, though Hermione didn’t spot her. Such a shame.
The Vertices were namedropped way, way back in The Adventures of… Yes, it’s taken this long to bring them in. With absolutely no resemblance to their original idea, of course.
System 2814-113 itself first appeared in Her First Year Chapter 38: First Forgotten.

I plumb forgot that a Tale of Old, from that world borne On The Shoulders Of Titans (all kaiju are true), has been retold where it belongs, as a tale of Monarchs.

Tale of Old was originally posted in 30/10/2023, meaning that it has (almost to the day) been three years since I shared with you, my readers, and even longer since I actually wrote it. Because of that, it didn't surprise me how much work it took to rewrite and update it (probably as much as it took to originally write it.
Still, what was originally there was quite a good story. A bit rushed, yes (something I could only somewhat improve in this version, I admit) but overall compelling and suspenseful. I hope this version is/was only a further improvement of that!
