I am getting really, really tired of this coddling people that want to live in a world of ignorance and idiocy.

Just stop trying to make me, and the rest of the nation try to accommodate your fear-of-the-modern-world-based views so that you are not 'offended'. Specially since by doing so you are actually threatening our collective future.

My reaction to the list was as I posted on my facebook account that this was political correcteness taken to cloud cuckoo land levels of idiocy. Plus I'll add whoever came up with this list deserves to be tarred and feathered or alternatively placed in the stocks along with a couple buckets of suitably puterscent fuits for passerby to throw at them...

Oh, I meant to mention this yesterday, but I heard a snippet on CBS radio news for NYC yesterday that said this whole thing had been scrapped, basically because of the public outcry and because the media coverage was making the Board of Ed look like idiots.

Indeed. The media wasn't making the Board of Ed look like idiots, the media was showing that the Board of Ed were idiots ... or at least, that they'd suffered a serious brain cramp when they came up with this notion.
