Sayin' hi...

Found this place on the recommendation of Rob Kelk of rec.arts.anime misc (where I post somewhat regularly by my real name, Arnold Kim) . Sounded like it
might be a cool place to check out. From what Rob tells me, the people here are more Kimagure Orange Road or Patlabor than Naruto, and that's fine with me
as I think that's a bit more my scene anyway. I'm completely new to the Drunkards Walk world, but hey, I'm willing to learn.

I'll be around...

I dunno about that... Really, in terms of stories as well as "What anime are you" we're pretty much all over the map.

Oh yeah, we have no real consensus on choice of anime here -- you gets to pick yer own poison.

Welcome to the forums, yjk!

Just remember we have two important rules here: one, have fun, and two, play nice.

Also note that Rule Whichever is amended to "Play niceish" in the Politics area...

Just realized... nobody's given Arnold a link to Drunkard's Walk yet. So here you go.

(Oh, and I said "Bleach", not "Naruto". There's a fairly large Ninja contingent here... but there's also a fairly large Knight Saber contingent here, too.)

Welcome to the Looney Bin, yjk! What size straitjacket do you take?

My favorite response to that was a cartoon which showed a pirate with his head squeezed between the expansive bosoms of two fighting-game ninja
girls -- I think Kasumi and Mai, but I don't follow those games so I can't be sure -- who're sarcastically pretending
they can't remember just why ninja are better than pirates....
